Vision
Our vision is to conduct innovation teaching, research on the patterns and processes of life with a focus on plants and
their ENVIRONMENTS. Impart knowledge on the complexity of Plant Kingdom with reference to their diversity, conservation,
biotechnological application, taxonomy, embryology, ethno-botanical perspectives, physiological processes and
horticultural practices.
Mission
Educate students in the field of Botany and pay attention to the wider societal needs.
Capacity building for self-employment opportunities.
Make them to appreciate our Mother Nature and prepare them to protect their environment and more opportunities in the field of plant science for better understanding of biodiversity and conservation strategies to sustain the life on mother earth.

No T. Y. B. Sc. (Specialization) Department, while currently not hosting a T. Y. B. Sc. department, we continuously
explore avenues for future expansion and development.

Research Projects signifies an exciting opportunity for academic advancement and innovation
by fostering an environment that encourages and supports research initiatives, we aim to
cultivate a vibrant culture of exploration within our department.

Infrastructure - Up gradation of UG Laboratory by adding latest equipments.

Academic Enhancements - Plan to introduce T.Y. B. Sc. department.
Extension Activities –Expansion of existing Botanical Gardens by adding many medicinal, aromatic & other rare plants and strengthening industry-academic collaborations to promote hands-on training.
